Terms of use

Last updated 27 September 2026

Mooring is an interface for swapping assets using third-party protocols. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Mooring.

1. What Mooring is — and isn't

  • Mooring is non-custodial software. It never takes custody of your assets. Deposits are made to addresses issued by NEAR Intents; swaps execute on Rhea's smart contracts; NEAR-side transactions are signed by your own wallet.
  • Mooring is not a bank, broker, exchange or money transmitter, and does not give financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
  • Mooring does not vet, endorse or guarantee any token it displays. Risk labels are mechanical and can be wrong or incomplete.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Check the network, asset, exact amount, deposit deadline and addresses before sending anything.
  • Keep your wallets and keys secure. Mooring can't recover assets sent to a wrong address, on a wrong network, or after a deadline.
  • Make sure using Mooring is lawful where you are, including sanctions and tax rules.

3. Third-party services

Orders depend on NEAR Intents (1Click), Rhea, the Intear routing API, NEAR RPC providers and the bridges behind bridged tokens. Their availability, pricing, limits and behaviour are outside Mooring's control. Refunds for failed leg-1 swaps are made by NEAR Intents according to its rules.

4. Fees

Mooring charges the fee shown in each quote (currently 0.25% on the NEAR Intents leg). Third-party fees, spreads, pool fees and network fees are separate and shown or included in the quote. See Fees.

5. Risks

Digital assets are volatile and can lose all value. Quotes can change before execution; price impact and slippage can reduce what you receive. Smart contracts, bridges and third-party services can fail. You use Mooring at your own risk. See Risks.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

Mooring is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the people behind Mooring are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including losses caused by third-party services, market movements, user error or software defects.

7. Changes

We may update these terms or change or discontinue Mooring. The date above shows the latest version.
